Best of Occupational Therapy (11/25/2020)

This week, the best of occupational therapy includes: OT swag.

Curious What “The BOOT” is?

Here’s the Deal: This is where I bring you the best of the best from the field of OT.

I’ll consume all sorts of wonderful occupational therapy content. This includes podcast episodes, blog posts, videos, journal articles, social media posts, you name it.  Then, I’ll pick my favorites for you to enjoy.

If you want to get all of this amazing OT content sent right to your inbox, make sure to sign up here.

Is there anything that you think should be included in the BOOT? Email me and let me know.

Also, make sure you subscribe to the podcast and feel free to join in on the discussion in the free community.

More importantly, let’s find out who gets “The BOOT” this week…

With the holidays coming, I wanted to focus today on some businesses that offer OT swag. BTW, OT 4 Lyfe also has some swag options, in case you need some gift ideas ;o).

OT Passport Shop

If you haven’t checked out this shop yet, you need to. I have a few of the shirts and they are my absolute favorites because you know OT is my jam.

Great Lakes Otees

I recently stumbled upon this shirt shop and am in love with so many of their designs.

The OT Wardrobe

This shop has some amazing OT swag for practitioners and students.

OT Stickers

Sensational Connections has created some fabulous OT stickers. I loved them so much, I got some one my water bottle as we speak.

Living Over Labels

This shop has some swag that is specifically OT with a sunflower twist and some that is all about living over labels. I mean how OT is that.

Looking For CEU Recommendations?

This week I released a community episode sharing your recommendations of your fave continuing education courses. If you’re looking for some CEUs/PDUs to add to your clinical tool belt, take a listen to hear what the OT 4 Lyfe community said.

And a brand new #30daymovementchallenge has just begun. This time we are dancing away 2020 and will be dancing everyday for the next 30 days. If you want in all you gotta do is video yourself dancing, post it to your IG stories, tag me @ot.4.lyfe , and use the hashtag #danceaway2020. I am so not a dancer, so don’t think you have to be a professional to do this challenge. Just put on your dancing shoes, turn up the volume, and get to dancing.

If you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you have a wonderful holiday. If you don’t, I hope you have a wonderful Thursday.

Got resources you want to share? Hit me up because I would love to feature them or have you as a guest blogger for “The BOOT”. Contact me here.

Cheers!
