Question of the Month: January 2021

Sarah Putt, MA, OTR/L

It’s that time of year.

The time where myself and many other people tend to get super reflective as we think back about the year behind us and prepare for the new year ahead of us.

And with everything that has happened this past year, I’m feeling extra reflective.

That’s why I decided to make this month’s question of the month all about reflections from the year that was 2020.

And I want to hear from you.

  • What are some of your reflections from this past year?
  • What did you learn, realize or recognize in 2020?
  • What obstacles did you overcome?
  • What good happened this past year?

I really want to hear from the #communOT and hear your experiences over this past year. The good, the bad, everything.

If you’re unfamiliar with how the “Question of the Month” works, here’s the deal. Each month I put out a new question for the OT community. To answer the “Question of the Month”, all you need to do is call in and leave me a voicemail. Here’s the link: https://ot4lyfe.com/voicemail/.

When you call, make sure to state your name, where you are calling from (i.e: social media handle, Youtube channel, blog/podcast, school, location, etc), and then state your response to the question.

You get 90 seconds before the system will cut you off, but if you have more to say, just call back and leave another voicemail or 2. I’ll need your voicemail by January 29 and once I get all the voicemails, Il’ll compile them into a podcast episode which will come out on Monday February 1, 2021.

I’ll also be doing an OT 4 Lyfe swag giveaway for this question. So each person who calls in will get an entry into the drawing in order to win some free swag.

I’m really looking forward to putting this episode together and hearing all about your year. And don’t worry, I’ll be sharing my own reflections too and a big announcement when this episode comes out so stay tuned for that.

So call in, leave your voicemail, and get ready for a fabulous new year!
