Rachel Moore, OTS

Rachel was on staff for 6 straight summers driving boats for a summer camp, being on the water every day for weeks. Now that she is in grad school, she can’t be on staff but she hopes to find an opportunity to somehow be around water and boats this year.

When asked does driving boats mean to her, Rachel responded, “Joy. Pure joy. I love being able to share that feeling with others and my community.”

She goes on to say, “Connection. To nature, to people, to life, to myself. I feel so comfortable and at home inside a boat, tying up ropes, surrounded by water. I think it’s where I really come alive.”
