What does OT mean to your lyfe?

OT is my job, my purpose, and one of my biggest sources of joy. For me OT is about seeing and using the passions within someone to help them participate in life to the fullest extent.

What’s your most memorable moment as an OT practitioner?

My most memorable moment as an OT practitioner so far was teaching a pediatrics lab in an MOT program. It was amazing to have my skill confirmed by watching the students learn about pediatric OT and put that knowledge to practice.

What lights you up about occupational therapy?

My clients! When I see a kiddo having fun and making progress at the same time, it makes my heart so happy!

What’s your biggest challenge in regards to OT right now?

My biggest challenge in regards to OT right now balancing what I’m able to do right now with all that I want to do.

What’s one piece of advice you would share with current OT/OTA students or practitioners?

Always find the joy in what you’re doing.
