U is for Undergraduate

One of the best parts of being an occupational therapy provider is that we all come from different backgrounds and educational studies.

Before I had even heard the words occupational therapy, I knew that I wanted to work with people and I also discovered that I had a passion for understanding how the brain works.

I pursued an undergraduate degree in psychology and little did I know that that degree was a great precursor to entering the field of occupational therapy. And I have heard of so many other practitioners who also studied psych before turning to OT.
