One of the best parts of my job is seeing a kiddo laugh during therapy. I take my job very seriously and push my clients to reach their milestones and goals, but I always do it with a smile on my face. If the child is not having fun, then I am not doing my job right.
This picture was taken while I was volunteering in Ecuador. This little boy came in and had significant functional limitations, even the simplest of things was extremely hard, if not impossible for him to do.
After a little vestibular input on the swing, some bubbles, and a song or two, this little guy came to life. To this day, this picture is one of my favorite moments every captured. This little boy melted my heart and every time I see this picture I can’t help but smile.
